The Battle flag of the 26th North Carolina Regiment was returned to North Carolina for the 1st time since the Civil War. The colors were the only CSA battle flag to be carried to the wall at Gettysburg during Picket's Charge. The flag is now at the Museum of History in Raleigh NC. The 26th NC Band, which recreates the original band of the regiment, was honored to be there!
